FALKLANDS 40 –
40th Anniversary of Conflict The Act of Remembrance to commemorate the 40th Anniversary of the end of the Falklands conflict in 1982 will be held at the War Memorial on the 14th June 2022 at 3pm. This will coincide with that taking place at the Liberation Monument in Port Stanley (11am Falklands local time) and the main Royal British Legion commemoration at the National Arboretum. The format will be:
0900 – Union Flag raised at the RBL Club
1450 – Assemble at War Memorial
1459 – Exhortation & Last Post
1500 – Silence
1502 – Reveille then Kohima Epitaph
1503 – Laying of Wreath
1505 – Prayers
1510 – Thanks for Attendance & Dispersal
