Price Increases

With the current cost of living crisis affecting everyone including us (the RBL Club), we have been looking very closely at our costs and overheads.

To date, we have been subject to the following companies increasing their prices:

• Tolchards – Drink Supplier (Second Increase This Year)
• British Gas – Gas Supplier
• British Gas – Electricity Supplier
• BOC – Carbon Dioxide Suppler

No doubt, there will be other companies in the not too distant future increasing their prices as well.

What does that mean for the RBL Club?

We’ve been trying to the best of our ability in absorbing these increases however it’s reached a point where that approach is not a sustainable long term option and action is required sooner rather than later. That means in the coming months, the price of all drinks and snacks will unfortunately rise. We will still endeavour to keep them as low as possible, however that might mean a second increase at some point if deemed necessary.

We will also be looking at the energy consumption in the building so please don’t be offended if we don’t use the air conditioning or we ask that the fire doors in the hall are not left open during the winter months to save on the heating costs.

It has to be a collected effort from everyone in keeping the costs to an absolute minimum.
